"The earlier edition of, 'The Gay Liberation Book'. LGBT information, appeared on my desk at the New York's Gay Activists Alliance well after a half a decade ago. I, and everyone else who saw it, was electrified. Here was the book for gay men we'd dreamed of! There were first hand personal tales, like our own, of the agonies of discovering ourselves in an unsupported world...a world where many of us had felt no one else populated. No more, with such as book available, would young men and older folk such as myself face that total isolation and aloneness we knew so well...Once again the authors have produced for us a rich and varied collection of essays directed to gay men and filled with experience , by turns of joyful, witty , painful conveying humanity.
Finally, I would like to give tribute to those who dared to put this book together , and those who contributed to it..."
